Mick Wilson, CF-L2
Michael Wilson is a California board-licensed chiropractor. He is a graduate of University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Cum Laude. Dr. Mick is the owner and clinic director of Symmetry Health where he assists patients in improving mobility, flexibility, and strength. He has an incredible understanding of bio-mechanics and body movement. He has a gift for motivating others to challenge themselves and live the life they have always desired.
Matthew Peace, CF-L2
Matt grew up in Kentucky. He was always an active kid, some may even say hyperactive. He played many sports growing up but excelled the most in wrestling and cross country. He loves the intensity and the competitive aspect of Crossfit. While serving in the Navy, Matt found Crossfit and obtained his Level 1 in 2008. He then got his level 2 in 2017. He is now a Firefighter with the US Forest Service and co-owner of Crossfit Kivnon. He loves hiking with his wife Grace and their dogs Winnie and Roy.
Breanna Barton, CF-L2
Bre started CrossFit in 2014 after enduring years of chronic pain. CrossFit methodology changed her life, and offered a fun social and competitive workout that she couldn’t find at a typical gym. Bre is passionate about health and brings 20 years of fitness and nutrition experience as Kivnon's nutrition coach.
JC Ledbetter, CF-L2
JC is a 20-year veteran of Naval Special Warfare. He started drinking the CrossFit Kool-Aid when he witnessed the results of CrossFit on athletes that were already at the top levels of performance. He took his passion for fitness and sports and adapted it to the science of CrossFit. JC is now the COO of Tactical Air Operations, the US Navy and Air Force Special Operations Parachuting School. He has over 18,000 parachute jumps. JC brings years of elite athlete experience to the team.
Jessica Zamudio, CF-L1

Kyle Lucena, CF-L1
Coach Kyle was born and raised on the island of Guam and served in the United States Coast Guard for eight years. After finding CrossFit in 2009 he moved to San Diego in 2013 to finish his degree in kinesiology at San Diego State University and to pursue his competitive CrossFit journey. He competed at the 2014 and 2016 CrossFit Games California Regionals. After many competitions, trainings, and clinics, Coach Kyle is now our Olympic lifting coach and specializes in advanced CrossFit movements.
Shaye Patel, CF-L2
Shaye has been an athlete his whole life from playing water polo at the national and International levels to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! Along this athletic journey he discovered the amazing sport of fitness - Crossfit, in 2015! Since then, Shaye has competed at an Elite Level in the masters age group (40-44) both at national levels and in the Open and has also coached crossfit for the past few years! He loves any and every kind of sport and he is a Star Wars fanatic!
Anthony Blando, Gymnastics Coach

Dawn Bordelon, CF-L1
Dawn found her passion for fitness after an injury left her unable to walk or stand independently for more than 6 months. During this difficult time, she realized that movement is a gift that should not be wasted. Once fully healed, Dawn began hosting dance-fitness classes at local gyms. She discovered the rewards of supporting others who are taking their first steps toward reaching their fitness goals.
She especially enjoys welcoming new people to the box with encouragement and high fives.
Joe Dunleavy, CF-L1
Russella Allison, CF-L2
Russella is a San Diego native who brings her infectious energy to coaching. As a California girl, she grew up exploring the canyons, climbing trees, and ocean swimming. This translated into endurance racing, triathlons, and traditional gym training. After years of distractions and the birth of a daughter, she began searching for something different to return her body to its pre-pregnancy state. That's when she found CrossFit. Russella has her level 2 and coaches both adults and children.
